Free Purchasing Review at the National Care Forum Managers Conference 2010

November, 2010

Care from The Consortium will be attending the National Care Forum Managers Conference on Monday 8th November and will be offering attendees a unique opportunity to identify where and how they can make savings with a free Purchasing Review.

With 40 years experience serving organisations delivering public services, the company has extensive expertise in supply chain management and sourcing the best value solutions to meet customers’ needs. Care from The Consortium can help analyse current spending and provide recommendations and strategies to help get best value saving time and money.

The Purchasing Review is a simple 3 step process that involves:

1. Consultation
A review of typical spend by supplier and regularly purchased key products to build up an overall procurement picture to identify where savings can be made.

2. Recommendation
By analysing the data collected during the consultation, Care from The Consortium will provide recommendations that:

  • Clarify key purchasing requirements: the products that are business critical and where brand matters.
  • Identify where best value can be achieved through a combination of service, product and price.
  • Find efficiencies through supply chain consolidation, either by achieving better pricing or by reducing the administrative burden of supplier management.

3. Consolidation
Care from The Consortium will develop an implementation plan that includes access to key business critical products and key brands as well as tangible results in terms of savings and efficiencies.

Chris Hubbard, Brand Manager at Care from The Consortium said "We are really looking forward to the National Care Forum and launching our Free Purchasing Reviews which can identify real savings and benefits for members that could make a significant difference to their budgets and procurement."
