With many schools still uncertain about the impact of last September’s Comprehensive Spending Review on their budgets for the coming year, The Consortium has launched a new catalogue for 2011 that delivers even better value to schools.

The 2011 catalogue - or ‘The Big Pink Book’ as it is affectionately called by The Consortium’s education customers - includes some 4,000 new products from curriculum resources to inspire learning in the classroom to all the everyday school supplies that help the whole school run smoothly.

In response to customer requests, and to help budgets stretch further, the Own Brand and Value Ranges have been considerably extended to include more of the items purchased most frequently by schools, including stationery, classroom furniture and cleaning products. The most popular products in these ranges are also featured in an accompanying smaller, handy-sized brochure, The Little Pink Book, so that customers can quickly find the items they order regularly.

As winner of the Education Resource Award for Supplier of the Year in 2010, The Consortium continues to focus on delivering high levels of service. The new catalogue includes more offers and deals as well as Bright Ideas giving advice on how products can be used or highlighting their key benefits. Schools also benefit from free delivery on all orders, as well as a price match guarantee and a ‘no quibble’ returns policy so that they can buy with confidence without having to compromise on quality or service.
